Hurriyat (G) pays tributes to slain Pulwama militants, civilian | KNO

Srinagar, April 30, 2018 (KNO) : Paying rich tributes to the brave hearts Aaqib Wani ,Sameer Tiger and a civilian, Shahid Ashraf who were slain in a gunfight with the Indian forces in Pulwama district, the Hurriyat Conference general secretary Gh Nabi Sumji on Monday said, “due to lingering Kashmir dispute, our fourth generation is pushed to the wall and forced to take extreme steps.

Blaming authorities for waging war against innocent civilians, Sumji said that forced occupation has turned the peaceful territory into slaughter house, where people are compelled to carry coffins of their youngsters. Commenting on the ‘appalling’ situations, Gh Nabi Sumji said, “the authorities in New Delhi should understand the ground situtaions in occupied territory and added bullying and military might can’t suppress our sentiments or break our resolve.

Sumji urged New Delhi to take steps for its amicable and lasting resolution in accordance with UN resulutions. Hailing subjugated people in state for their sentiments and resolve, Sumji said that despite all brutal measures, perpetrated by India and its stooges, they illustrated steadfastness, persistence and commitment with sacred cause of freedom movement. Sumji expressed his deep concern over the continuous raids and detention of political leaders and activists, saying that slapping of PSA against senior activist of Muslim League and shifting to Kotbhalwal is extreme barbaric step and violation of fundamental human rights.
